Description:
On a chilly, windy and somewhat rainy fall day my wife Janet and I hiked to the cliffs above Shi Shi Beach on the Olympic Peninsula in northwest Washington State. The first thing that greeted us was this American Bald Eagle winging toward it's waiting mate in a nearby solitary pine tree perched on a rugged sea stack (you can see other sea stacks in the distance). |
